2017 Global Cleantech 100
The Global Cleantech 100 is an annually published list produced by the Cleantech Group. The list recognises the top 100 private companies most likely to positively impact the clean technology industry and each year attracts over 11,000 nominations. Read the press release here.

It is yet another vindication of the vision, self-belief and sheer hard work of all our employees over many years.”
2015-16 Rushlight Awards
The Rushlight Awards, presented by Eventure Media, are a celebration and a promotion of new technology, innovation and best practice across the whole environment spectrum for organisations throughout UK and Ireland. Bowman Power Group was named as the winner of the Power Generation and Transmission award, which celebrates the most significant engineering development or innovation that has improved the efficiency of energy conversion and/or transmission from fuel source to consumer in the electricity sector.
The company was also awarded the Energy Environment award, for the most significant achievement in reducing the impact on the environment from energy and power generation or end use, either directly or indirectly, for heat, power or fuel for transport purposes.

Sustrans Employee Engagement Award
Sustrans works with communities, policy-makers and partner organisations so that people can choose healthier, cleaner and cheaper journeys and enjoy better, safer spaces where they live. The SME Travel Awards celebrates the achievements of small businesses that have made changes to their organisational travel behaviour, to make improvements and bring about cost savings, health benefits and a reduction in environmental impact.
Bowman was named winner of the 2015 Best Employee Engagement Award, “This company is really taking its environmental impact seriously. It’s developed a Travel Action Plan with Sustrans, and endorsed it with enthusiasm. Bowman believes in the responsibility it has in encouraging its staff to travel to work sustainably.”

Women in Business 2015 Rising Star
Women in Business is an awards programme organized by The Business Magazine, which recognises women who have excelled in their profession and made a real impact on businesses. The key principle of the awards is to discover outstanding women who, through leadership and innovative ideas, stand out as an exceptional individual in their role.
The ‘Rising Star’ awards category is specifically for women aged 30 or under, and who are ‘Women to Watch’. The category looked for women who have quickly risen through the ranks and made their mark in industry, with the qualities to make a strong future leader. In 2015, Maria Llorens, our Principal Mechanical Engineer, won this award.

The Sunday Times Tech Track 100 2013
The Sunday Times Hiscox Tech Track 100 league table ranks Britain’s 100 private tech companies with the fastest-growing sales over the latest three years. In 2013 Bowman ranked 21st on the league table.
“We are delighted to be ranked again as one of the fastest-growing UK technology companies, especially as a manufacturing company. We have made many developments right across the business over the last 12 months, including attaining ISO 9001 accreditation and it is good to maintain our sales growth at the same time,” said Toby King, CEO, on hearing about the award.
“Once again, I would like to thank everyone involved including our staff, customers, suppliers and partners for making this happen.”
Bowman Power achieved average annual sales growth of 128% and was recognised as the 4th highest manufacturing company on the list.
Deloitte Technology Fast 50 Index 2013
The Deloitte Technology Fast 50 is one of the UK’s foremost technology award programmes. It is a ranking of the country’s 50 fastest growing technology companies, based on revenue growth over the last five years.
In 2013 Bowman was pleased to be announced 24th in the ranking, also placing 2nd position in the Green Tech Sector, with the growth rate of 1022%.

Made in Britain Award Winner 2012
Bowman won the Made In Britain category at the prestigious CBI-backed 2012 Growing Business Awards.
“It’s in a sweet spot with unlimited potential,” said the panel of judges making the award. “Bowman represents extraordinary innovation and is a company that needs the greatest possible encouragement at this stage in its development.”
Bowman won the award for its innovative high-speed turbogenerator that recovers energy from large engine exhausts and converts it into electricity.
The Sunday Times Tech Track 100 2012
In 2012 Bowman ranked 18th on the Sunday Times Hiscox Tech Track 100 of Britain’s fastest growing private technology companies.

Bowman was placed 18th out of the Tech Track 2012 companies, with average annual sales growth of 117%. Overall, it was also the fastest growing company south of London, and the 4th fastest manufacturing company nationwide.
Bond Pearce Technology & Innovation Award Winner 2011
At the Hampshire Business Awards 2011, Bowman won the Bond Pearce Technology & Innovation Award for the company’s work in developing the world’s first cost-effective ETC solution.
The judges said “Bowman Power. A worthy winner of an award focused on technology and innovation. Its technology is proven in terms of the efficiency gains it can produce – several units are operating in customers’ facilities and have had no significant operating issues – and the payback period for most applications is so short that conversion would seem like an easy decision for any large scale operators of diesel engines. The company is well placed to make the most of this exciting and worthwhile technology on a global scale.”
Frost & Sullivan New Product Innovation of the Year 2010
Based on its research on the powertrain market, Frost & Sullivan presented Bowman with the 2010 European New Product Innovation Award for the development of electrical turbogenerators that convert exhaust gases into useful energy.
The Frost & Sullivan Best Practices Awards recognize companies in a variety of regional and global markets for demonstrating outstanding achievement and superior performance in areas such as leadership, technological innovation, customer service, and strategic product development. Industry analysts compare market participants and measure performance through in-depth interviews, analysis, and extensive secondary research in order to identify best practices in the industry.
